So far there is only one location,
where Season 1 will take place, which is the Atlanta quarantine zone and surrounding areas/suburbs. Atlanta has become the main hub
both for survivors and military in the southeast. It has a huge
military presence due to its size and is almost overloaded with
quarantine inhabitants. There is almost always a food and water
shortage. Most buildings in the downtown area were closed and locked
up once cleared of infected. There is a large wall that surrounds the
zone that is regularly patrolled by military. They also run patrols
and supply gathering missions to the outskirts of the zone quite
often. There is a larger FEDRA presence here than compared to other
zones because of the size of the military force.
